Kathmandu: NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba and Communication Minister Jagadish Kharel have met to discuss election preparations. The incumbent government has been effortful in creating an atmosphere conducive for the upcoming March 5 election to the House of Representatives (HoR).
According to National News Agency Nepal, the government has initiated consultations with leaders of the three key political parties-Nepali Congress, CPN (UML), and Nepali Communist Party-to ensure a smooth electoral process. As part of this effort, Minister for Communication and Information Technology Jagadish Kharel is engaging in discussions with top political figures.
Minister Kharel has already met with NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba at his residence in Maharajgunj. He is also scheduled to have separate discussions with CPN (UML) Chair KP Sharma Oli and Nepali Communist Party (NCP) Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ later in the day. The meetings aim to foster collaboration and understanding among the parties in preparation for the elections.
