Bhaktapur: The interim government is maintaining its momentum in holding consultations with top leaders from key political parties to facilitate a conducive environment for the upcoming March 5 election. As part of these efforts, Minister for Communication and Information Technology Jagadish Kharel met with CPN (UML) Chairperson KP Sharma Oli at the latter’s residence in Gundu, Bhaktapur.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Minister Kharel is actively participating as a member of the Political Dialogue Committee. This committee has been established by the interim government to engage political parties and stakeholders, aiming to foster a favorable atmosphere for the election to the House of Representatives.
Earlier in the day, Minister Kharel also consulted with Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba regarding the impending election. The government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Sushila Karki, is striving to successfully conduct the fresh election on March 5, 2026, by building a national consensus.
