According to National News Agency Nepal, Thapa emphasized that the decision made by the Election Commission should be accepted and the party moved forward accordingly in the coming days. “We will move forward together with senior leaders within the party and bringing in new youth, seeking the role of guardianship and stewardship of former President Sher Bahadur Deuba, and in a day or two, we are trying to create an environment where the entire Congress stands together,” he said.

He expressed his determination to move the party forward by including everyone, citing the pressure of time as the deadline to finalize candidates for the election on March 5 approaches.
