Kaski: In the House of Representatives (HoR) member election held on March 5, a total of 4,698 votes were declared invalid in Kaski. Out of the 191,425 votes cast across the district’s three constituencies, 186,727 were valid, shared Rudra Neupane, Information Officer at the Provincial Election Office in Pokhara.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the invalid votes accounted for 2.45 percent of the total votes. In Kaski-1, 71,806 votes were cast, of which 69,954 were valid and 1,852 were invalid.
In constituency number 2, out of 53,395 votes cast, 52,187 were valid and 1,208 were invalid.
For constituency number 3, a total of 66,224 votes were cast. Of these, 64,586 votes were valid, with 1,638 votes deemed invalid, informed Neupane.
