Kathmandu: Leader of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) and newly elected member of the House of Representatives from Kathmandu-6, Shishir Khanal, emphasized the importance of good governance, employment creation, and fostering an enterprising Nepal as the primary objectives of his party.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Khanal addressed a gathering organized by Tarakeshwor municipality-9 of Kathmandu-6, where he expressed his commitment to collaborate with local levels to address the issues faced by the people, given that the RSP does not have its own government at the local level. Khanal, who is also a former Minister for Education, Science and Technology, acknowledged the ongoing problem of drinking water in Kathmandu-6 and pledged to tackle these issues through discussions and establishing close contact with the residents.
Khanal assured that he would consistently advocate for public concerns in parliament. He reiterated the trust placed in the RSP by the people to transform the country over the next five years and emphasized that the party would ensure this trust is not misplaced.
