Kathmandu: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated Chairperson of Rastriya Swatantra Party Rabi Lamichhane and its Senior Leader Balendra Shah for their party’s landslide victory in the recently concluded election to the House of Representatives.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the Indian Prime Minister shared the news through his official X handle, stating that he had warm telephone conversations with Chairperson of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Rabi Lamichhane and Senior Leader Balendra Shah.
Modi expressed his congratulations to both leaders on their electoral victories and highlighted RSP’s success in the Nepal elections. He conveyed his best wishes for their forthcoming new government and emphasized India’s commitment to working with Nepal for mutual prosperity, progress, and the well-being of both countries. Modi also expressed confidence that with joint endeavors, the relations between India and Nepal will reach new heights in the coming years.
