Kathmandu: Leader of the Nepali Communist Party (NCP), Barsha Man Pun, has declared that the party will assume the role of a constructive opposition in parliament to ensure government accountability. Pun made this statement before attending the oath-taking ceremony for the newly elected members of the House of Representatives at Singha Durbar.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Pun emphasized that the NCP lawmakers would serve in opposition based on the mandate given by the people. He also highlighted his dedication to using his previous parliamentary experience effectively during his current tenure.
