Istanbul: National Assembly Chair Narayan Prasad Dahal met with Australian House of Representatives Speaker Milton Dick in Istanbul, Turkey earlier today. Chair Dahal is currently in Istanbul to attend the 152nd General Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union.
According to National News Agency Nepal, during the meeting, matters related to bilateral relations, mutual interests, and parliamentary cooperation between Nepal and Australia were discussed. The dialogue aimed to strengthen the ties and enhance collaboration between the two countries’ legislative bodies.
Also present in the meeting were National Assembly members Krishna Bahadur Rokaya and Dr. Anjan Shakya, and National Assembly Secretary Tul Bahadur Kandel. Their presence underscored the importance of the discussions and the commitment to fostering strong international partnerships.
