Minister for Youth and Sports Tejulal Chaudhary has inaugurated the 25th Congress of AIPS Asia, the umbrella organization of sports journalists across the region, at a programme held in Kathmandu on Thursday.
The Association of International Press Sports (AIPS), Asia has signed a cooperation agreement between Hotel Association of Nepal (HAN) and CMR Nepal.
The agreement was signed between HAN President Binayak Shah and AIPS Asia President Hee Dong Jung.
The 25th Congress of AIPS Asia was organized for the first time in Nepal under the auspices of Nepal Sports Journalists Forum (NSJF).
As per the agreement, more than 1.000 member journalists of AIPS Asia will get 10 percent discount on hotel facilities when they come to Nepal. The sports journalists from 30 countries are participating in the congress.
