Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) today arrested former lawmaker of Rajshahi-3 constituency Asaduzzaman Asad from the city’s Baridhara area.
RAB rounded up Asad from the city’s Baridhara area today in a case filed over attack on the protesters of the anti-discrimination student movement, a RAB official said.
Process is going on to hand Asad over to Boalia Police in Rajshahi.
Asad was elected Member of Parliament (MP) from Rajshahi-3 constituency as an Awami League candidate on January 7, 2024.
