Dhaka: The government has promoted Md Abdul Khaleque, who was serving as the Director General of Foods (Additional Secretary), to the rank of Secretary of the Ministry of Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Ministry of Public Administration released a gazette notification regarding this promotion. The notification was signed by Deputy Secretary Jamila Shabnam. The notification stated that the order has been issued in public interest.
