Magura: The 26th annual district level sports competition for government employees and their children was held at the Magura Collectorate ground today. The event featured a total of 33 different sports competitions, showcasing the talents and skills of participants from various departments.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the competition was organized by the district administration. The event was officially inaugurated by Magura Deputy Commissioner Md. Ohidul Islam, who attended as the chief guest, marking the commencement of the day’s activities.
The opening ceremony was graced by the presence of several notable officials, including Additional Superintendents of Police Mostafizu Rahman (Salikha-Mohammadpur circle), District Sports Officers Anamika Das and Shaswati Shil, Additional District Magistrate Md. Rokunuzzaman, and Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) Md. Abdul Kader. Their attendance underscored the importance of the event in promoting sports and physical activity among government employees and their families.
