Damauli: Chief Minister of Gandaki Province, Surendra Raj Pandey, has emphasized that the federal democratic republic system was established in accordance with the aspirations of the citizens. “Any attempts to reverse this system are subject to the consequences,” he stated during an address.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Chief Minister Pandey made these remarks at the 33rd establishment day of the Vyas municipality in Damauli. He highlighted that the federal democratic republic is built on the foundation of the people’s long struggles and sacrifices. Pandey further stated that there is no alternative to steering the country towards economic prosperity from within the existing system by putting an end to political instability.
He stressed that national development is achievable through collaboration among the three levels of government. National Assembly member Bhagawati Neupane, Gandaki Province Assembly member Jit Prakash Ale, Tanahu’s Chief District Officer Shyam Krishna Thapa, and District Coordination Committee Chief Shanti Raman Wagle advised the local government to meet the expectations and needs of the people.
