Arambagh Krira Sangha, came from behind,
registered an emphatic 5-1 goal victory over Samaj Kalyan O Krira Sangsad
Mugda in a match of the Bashundhara Group Senior Division Football League
held at Birshreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in the
city’s Kamalapur on Sunday.
In the day’s match, Md Roman slammed a brilliant hat-trick with three goals
in the 57th, 60th and 90+4th minutes while he was well supported by Abid
Hasan and Shafiqul Islam who scored one goal each in the 55th and 58th
minutes respectively for Arambagh.
Mahbubul Biswas Munna netted a lone goal for Samaj Kalyan in the 8th minute
of the match.
In the day’s another match held at the same venue, Mohakhali Ekadash edged
past Basabo Tarun Sangha by a solitary goal scored by Sabbir Ahmed Opurbo in
the 33rd minute of the match.
In another match, Swadhinata Krira Sangha split point with T and T Club Motijheel
when their match ended in a 1-1 goal draw also held at the same venue.
After the barren first half, Juntoo Mi
a put T and T Club ahead in the 82nd minute
while Mir Habib Hossain Sojib restored the parity for Swadhinata Krira Sangha
in the 89th minute of the match.
