Kathmandu: The Army Single Women, Injured Family Association met with Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli today and welcomed the introduction of the transitional justice law.
In the meeting held at the Official Residence of the Prime Minister in Baluwatar, President of the Association, Shobha BC, expressed hope that security personnel who suffered during the armed conflict would get justice.
It was on this day today that Surendra BC working for the Nepali Army was killed on 23 Bhadra 2059 BS, on the eve of Teej festival.
Remembering that unfortunate day, the office-bearers of the Association met Prime Minister Oli and drew his attention towards addressing the incidents that took place during conflict in a fair and just, and in a victim-friendly manner.
