Awakening Campaign Helps Maoist Centre Understand Public Issues: Dahal

Biratnagar: CPN (Maoist Centre) Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has stated that the party’s ongoing awakening campaign, focused on the East-West Postal Highway Area, has been instrumental in helping the party comprehend the issues faced by citizens.

According to National News Agency Nepal, Dahal made these remarks during a press meet organized by the Morang chapter of the Press Centre Nepal. He emphasized that the campaign has been beneficial in understanding the challenges of indigenous and ethnic communities, as well as the Madheshi population residing in the southern belt. This understanding has prompted the party to initiate measures to address these issues.

Dahal highlighted that the awakening campaign is crucial for economic development, asserting that it will contribute to boosting production and productivity. He described the Mechi to Mahakali campaign as a movement toward good governance, noting that it has inspired Nepali citizens and positioned the party as a key agent for transformation in the country.

Furthermore, Dahal advocated for the establishment of a directly elected executive chief in Nepal, which he believes is necessary to eliminate political anomalies and meet the citizens’ aspirations for peace and prosperity.
