Narayangadh: Chief of Balkumari Multiple Campus, Chitwan, Jagadishwar Khanal, passed away on Sunday night. He died at the BP Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital. He was 60.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Khanal had been teaching at the campus since 2053 BS. He was the former President of and an advisor to the Nepal Red Cross Society, Bharatpur sub-chapter. He was also a founding member of Aroma English Secondary School, Bharatpur.
Khanal is survived by his spouse, one daughter, and one son. He had been battling cancer for the past few years. His last rites will be performed at Devghat following his family’s religious traditions today, the family said.
