Dinajpur: Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) today destroyed seized drugs worth about Taka 9.62 crore. The illegal drugs were confiscated during various operations conducted by Fulbari 29 BGB and Dinajpur 42 BGB battalions over the past year and were stored at the BGB’s storehouse.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Rangpur BGB Region Commander Brigadier General SM Jahidur Rahman was present during the destruction of the drugs. The operation reflects ongoing efforts by BGB to combat illegal drug trafficking in the region.
