Biman Flight Makes Emergency Landing at Nagpur Due to Technical Glitch


Nagpur: A Dubai-bound Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight from Dhaka carrying 395 passengers made an emergency landing at Nagpur in India due to a technical glitch.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the incident occurred at approximately 10:45 PM when the captain received a technical signal, prompting an immediate landing at the nearest airport, which was Nagpur. A press release from Biman Bangladesh Airlines confirmed the sequence of events and assured that all passengers are receiving full support at Nagpur Airport.



The flight, designated as BG-347, is a Boeing 777 aircraft that departed from Dhaka at 8:53 am. Following the emergency landing, Biman Bangladesh Airlines arranged for another Boeing 777 to assist the stranded passengers. This aircraft departed from Dhaka at 10:45 AM and arrived in Nagpur at 12:39 PM to facilitate the continuation of the journey to Dubai.



Biman Bangladesh Airlines stated that the replacement aircraft is scheduled to depart for Dubai with the passengers who had been waiting at Nagpur.
