Kathmandu: A Buddha Air aircraft that departed from Janakpur en route to Kathmandu successfully landed at Tribhuvan International Airport despite lacking one of its two front wheels.
According to National News Agency Nepal, TIA General Manager Jagannath Niraula confirmed the plane landed safely, and an investigation is underway regarding the missing wheel. Niraula noted that although the issue is not deemed a major problem, it is being thoroughly examined to ensure future safety.
Buddha Air Information Officer Dipendra Karna stated that the aircraft, identified by the call sign 9N-A NH, completed its Janakpur to Kathmandu journey without incident. After landing, the plane was transferred to a technical team for further inspection due to the identified technical fault.
