Davos: Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus embarked on another intensive day of engagements on his third day at the World Economic Forum in Switzerland. Prof Yunus is set to participate in 14 events throughout the day, reflecting his active involvement in the summit’s proceedings.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Sir Nick Clegg, President of Global Affairs at Meta Platforms Inc, met with Chief Adviser Prof Yunus during the summit. This meeting underscores the high-level interactions Prof Yunus is partaking in during the forum.
On the previous day, Prof Yunus had a series of significant meetings, including discussions with Wolfgang Schmidt, Head of the Federal Chancellery and Federal Minister for Special Tasks in Germany; King Philippe of Belgium; Paetongtarn Shinawatra, Prime Minister of Thailand; Ignazio Cassis, Federal Councilor of the Federal Department for Foreign Affairs in Switzerland; Sheikha Latifa Bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority in the UAE; and UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres. Additionally, he met with Congo President Felix Tshisekedi, former US Special Envoy on Climate Change John Kerry, and former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, among others.
These interactions highlight Prof Yunus’s influential role and the broad spectrum of global leaders he is engaging with at the World Economic Forum.
