Cabinet Approves Prime Minister’s Visit to Neighbouring China.


Kathmandu: A meeting of the Council of Ministers held this evening has approved Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s visit to the People’s Republic of China. Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Badri Prasad Pandey announced that the cabinet meeting, which took place at the Office of the Prime Minister, sanctioned PM Oli’s visit from December 2-5.

According to National News Agency Nepal, Minister Pandey noted that agendas for the visit are still under discussion and have yet to be finalized. However, he confirmed that the members of the Prime Minister’s delegation and the visit itself have received approval. The visit is expected to see significant participation from the private sector, though it will not impose any financial burden on the government.

Minister Pandey further mentioned that the next meeting of the Council of Ministers will finalize the agenda for the China visit, ensuring that all necessary preparations are in place for this diplomatic endeavor.
