Executive Chairman of the Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS), Dharmendra Jha, vowed reform in RSS services based on the suggestions furnished by its subscribers.
During an interaction organized with its subscribers at the central office on Friday, RSS Chairman Jha made it clear that RSS had prioritized news quality and dissemination of news in multiple mother languages. “All-out efforts are made for service diversification and quality assurance in news,” he reminded, adding that RSS was mulling 24-hour news dissemination in imminent future.
According to him, the RSS news portal would be made customers-friendly soon. “The most valued asset of RSS is the trust and credibility of its subscribers. An annual calendar is made for collecting suggestions and recommendations for RSS news reform,” Jha shared.
On the occasion, General Manager Siddharaj Rai viewed the subscribers’ suggestions of timely news dissemination along with quality assurance would be paid heed by RSS management.

Deputy General Manager Shyam Rimal shared information about the services the RSS was providing. The RSS is devoted to provide quality service along with introduction of news in additional mother languages, he reminded.
The subscribers of RSS, which are various forms of media- print to online, suggested that RSS could pay heed to improve video news quality along with timely news dissemination, standard language and style, integrated approach of disseminating news and photos.
The news recipient media expressed concern over political and government news outpacing news of human interest.
Also expressing commitment to news reform on the occasion were Deputy General Manager Raju Shakya, Deputy General Manager and Head of News Division, Som Lamichhane, Chief Editor Uttam Silwal, Chief of Feature Section, Krishna Adhikari, and Chief of English Desk, Deepraj Sanyal.
