Dubai: Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus has been invited to attend the World Governments Summit 2025, which is set to take place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, in February. The invitation was extended by Sheikha Latifa Bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, during a bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum annual meeting in Switzerland.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the World Governments Summit is scheduled from February 11 to 13 this year. Prof Yunus was also asked to bring along three young advisers from the Interim Government. These young advisers played a significant role in leading the July uprising against the former government led by Sheikh Hasina.
Both parties emphasized the importance of youth in global leadership. Prof Yunus expressed his vision for the future, stating, “We want to build a new Bangladesh.”
