Kathmandu: A delegation led by Chief Justice Prakash Man Singh Raut has departed for Bangladesh today. The team is scheduled to visit the Supreme Court of Bangladesh following an invitation from the Chief Justice of Bangladesh, Dr. Syed Refaat Ahmed.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the delegation, which will remain in Bangladesh until November 4, includes Senior-most Justice Sapana Pradhan Malla, Justice Binod Sharma, and Chief Registrar Bimal Poudel. The purpose of the visit is to observe and foster judicial cooperation between the two nations’ highest courts, as stated by the Supreme Court spokesperson Arjun Prasad Koirala.
