Supreme Court (SC) Appellate Division Chief
Justice (CJ) Obaidul Hasan has taken a policy decision to resign by this
evening.
He will submit his resignation letter to the President after completing some
formalities, he told the newsmen present at the Supreme Court premises this
afternoon.
Lawyers including hundreds of protestors of the anti-discrimination student
movement have taken position at the SC premises from this morning demanding
the resignation of the judges of the Appellate Division including CJ Obaidul
Hasan.
