Dhanusha:A tragic incident has unfolded in Dhanusha, where a couple was found dead under suspicious circumstances. Reena Devi Yadav, 30, was discovered at her maternal home in Mithila Bihari Municipality-3 with her throat slit, and her husband, Umesh Yadav, 35, was subsequently found hanging from a tree about one kilometre away.
According to National News Agency RSS, the police have reported that Reena Devi Yadav’s body was found with a severe injury caused by a sharp weapon. Her husband Umesh Yadav’s body was located in a nearby jungle, also exhibiting signs of a tragic end.
Umesh Yadav, who was a permanent resident of Mithila Bihari-4, had recently returned from foreign employment. He visited his in-laws’ house just a day before the incident occurred. The couple is survived by their four-year-old son, who was living with Reena at her maternal home. The child also suffered a wound from a sharp weapon on his thigh, as confirmed by Deputy Superintendent of Police Om Prakash Khanal.
The police have deemed the circumstances surrounding the deaths suspicious and are actively investigating the case to uncover more details.
