Morang: The District Administration Office (DAO), Morang, has extended the prohibitory and curfew orders across the district to maintain peace and public order. The DAO announced through an official notice that the curfew, which has been in effect from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am since September 9, will continue.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Chief District Officer (CDO) Indradev Yadav stated that the prohibitory and curfew orders have been in place since September 9, following recent incidents involving Gen Z demonstrations. There have been no recent untoward incidents in the district.
Nepali Army squads have been deployed and are currently patrolling streets and residential areas to ensure public safety and security.
