Darchula: Among the four severely injured in the Darchula bus accident this morning, one has died. The deceased has been identified as Parbati Tamata, 25, of Naugad rural municipality-4. The accident took place at Hopari in Naugad rural municipality-4. Police Inspector at the District Police Office, Chhatra Bahadur Rawat confirmed the death of the woman while undergoing treatment in the hospital. It has been learnt that the woman was expecting her child.
According to National News Agency Nepal, a total of 11 were injured in the accident. Those who sustained minor injuries are being treated at the local Gokuleshwor Hospital, and the remaining three with critical injuries have been referred to Dhangadhi. Police took control of driver Lokendra Singh Thagunna for further investigation into the accident.
