DCCI-RCCI Distribute 1,000 Blankets in Rangpur


Rangpur: Rangpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) and Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) jointly distributed 1,000 blankets among cold-hit poor and distressed people in the city today. The initiative aimed to alleviate the discomfort faced by these individuals due to the cold weather conditions.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the distribution event took place at the RCCI auditorium of Rangpur Chamber Bhaban. The blankets were distributed as part of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programmes of the two business bodies. The event was attended by various officials, directors, and members of the Relief Sub-Committee of the RCCI.

Md Akbar Ali, President of RCCI, along with others, facilitated the distribution of the blankets during the function. He called upon businessmen, charity and voluntary organizations, banks, financial institutions, and affluent individuals to support those affected by the cold weather.

Present at the ceremony were Rangpur Chamber Vice-president Md
Mozammel Haque Dambel, Relief and Crest Giving Management Sub-committee Convener and Chamber Director Md Taifur Rahman, and several other Chamber Directors, including Md Harun-or-Rashid, Md Saiful Alam, Hasan Mahbub Akhter, Md Delwar Hossain Ripon, Md Azizul Islam, Md Sabihul Haque, Md Sanoar Hossain, as well as Relief Sub-Committee members Md Jaber Hossain Nobel and Md Mojibur Rahman.
