Kathmandu: The Development, Economic Affairs, and Good Governance Committee under the National Assembly has reviewed its annual action plan. Today’s meeting, chaired by Committee Chair Krishna Prasad Paudel, focused on assessing the activities conducted from July 17, 2025, to April 13, 2026, as stated by Committee Secretary Dr. Rojnath Pandey.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the committee approved the action plan to ensure the completion of the remaining activities by the end of the current fiscal year. Key decisions were made, including initiating pre-budget discussions and following up on the good governance agenda set forth by the government to ensure tangible outcomes.
Additionally, the committee decided to study the implementation of the budget and to develop an action plan for monitoring, evaluation, and decision-making processes, added Pandey. The meeting prioritized 24 issues, encompassing budget management, good governance, and the implementation of decisions.
