Diplomatic Efforts Initiated for Missing Nepalis in Uttarakhand Floods: Minister Rana


Kathmandu: Foreign Minister Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba has announced that the government is employing diplomatic efforts to locate and rescue Nepali citizens reported missing following the flashfloods in Uttarakhand, India. Minister Rana, through her social media platform, communicated that actions have been initiated to address the situation promptly after reports emerged of Nepali citizens missing since the flood incident.



According to National News Agency Nepal, Minister Rana expressed her deep sorrow over the incident and highlighted that the Nepali Embassy in New Delhi has been instructed to actively collaborate with Indian government authorities. This coordination is aimed at facilitating the search and rescue operations for the missing Nepali individuals.



Minister Rana also paid tribute to those who lost their lives in the floods and extended her condolences to the families affected by the tragedy.
