Discussion Held Between Prime Minister and Gen-Z Representatives


Kathmandu: A discussion was held between Prime Minister Sushila Karki and representatives of the Gen-Z group at the Office of the President today. Matters related to the country’s contemporary political situation, addressing Gen-Z demands, and the upcoming elections were discussed during the meeting.



According to National News Agency Nepal, the meeting was held at the call of President Ramchandra Poudel. Prime Minister Karki, members of her cabinet, and Gen-Z representatives Sudan Gurung, Prabhes Dahal, and Miraj Dhungana attended the discussions. During the meeting, the Gen-Z representatives presented their views on various issues, including good governance and amendment of the Constitution.



Prior to this, a discussion was held with leaders of political parties represented in the dissolved House of Representatives. The meeting at the President’s House on Friday focused on the upcoming elections.



This is the first discussion held with representatives of the Gen-Z group at the Office of the President since the Gen-Z movement of September 8 and 9 that led to the formation of the new government led by Prime Minister Karki.
