Darchula: An earthquake measuring 4.6 on the Richter scale occurred in the Darchula district. The earthquake struck at 8:28 am with its epicenter near the Ghusa area of Apihimal Rural Municipality in Darchula district, as reported by the Chief of the Surkhet-based National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Centre, Chintan Timilsina.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the tremors were also felt in the neighboring districts of Darchula, including Baitadi. The event has prompted residents in these areas to remain cautious. No immediate reports of damage or casualties have been received, but authorities are monitoring the situation closely.
