Eleven Bridges Completed in West Sector of Prithvi Highway


Pokhara: Eleven out of the 12 bridges have been constructed along the west (Pokhara-Jamune) section of the 38-kilometre Pokhara-Muglin road.



According to National News Agency Nepal, the Road Project Office has reported the completion of bridges over several rivulets, including Myagdekhola, Kumlekhola, Thadekhola, Samdhikhola, Mulkhola, Phedikhola-1, Phedikhola-2, Rudikhola, Haledikhola, Kalikhola, and Kotrekhola in Kaski.



In addition to the bridge construction, 105 culverts have been completed in this section. The current physical progress of this road segment has reached 59.89 percent, while the financial progress stands at 47.80 percent. The development includes about 30 kilometres of double-lane (four lanes) and eight kilometres of single-lane (two lanes) asphalted road.



Meanwhile, the road expansion on the 43-kilometre eastern section (Jamune-Muglin) is nearing its final stage of completion.
