Pokhara: Emphasis has been laid on the need for tourism partnership between Gandaki and Koshi Provinces. This was stressed at a program organized here under the ongoing ‘Jaun Hai Pokhara’ or Lets Go to Pokhara campaign in eastern Nepal in collaboration with the Hotel Association Nepal (HAN) Pokhara and Nepal Tourism Board Gandaki Province.
According to National News Agency Nepal, speakers at the program highlighted the tourism potential of Gandaki Province, including Pokhara, and Biratnagar in Koshi Province, known as the industrial city of Nepal. They emphasized that both cities could greatly benefit from a tourism partnership. Hotel Association Nepal Koshi Province President Rajan Shrestha suggested forming a provincial tourism minister-level committee to effectively implement this partnership.

t. He mentioned that a large number of tourists could be exchanged through partnerships in religious tourist destinations, including Bindhyabasini in Pokhara and Barahakhestra in Koshi.
Hotel Association Nepal Pokhara President Laxman Subedi explained that the ‘Jaun Hai Pokhara’ program has been promoting domestic tourism in major cities of Nepal for the past 25 years. He also announced a package offering a 25 percent discount in Pokhara hotels during the Fewa New Year festival, which will take place from Chaitra 29 to Baisakh 1 this year.
