Dhaka: Engineer AKM Tahmidul Islam today joined as the Director General (DG) of the Bangladesh Water Development Board (BWDB).
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, prior to his new position, he was the additional director general for planning, design, and research of the board, said a press release.
Islam joined the Board in 1993 as an assistant engineer.
