Melamchi: Chief Minister of Bagmati Province, Indra Bahadur Baniya, has emphasized the need to challenge the misleading narratives being propagated against the province government. Speaking at a program in Melamchi, the Chief Minister addressed the issue of false narratives circulating on social media platforms, which he believes are aimed at discrediting the government’s efforts.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Chief Minister Baniya highlighted the significant developments in physical infrastructure that have occurred since the establishment of the republican system. He argued that critics of this system are attempting to undermine the progress by spreading false information through social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.
During the event, Chief Minister Baniya, along with Health Minister Kiran Thapa, Economic Affairs and Planning Minister Pravat Tamang, and Drinking Water, Energy and Irrigation Minister Krishna Kumar Tamang, were honored for their contributions.
