Dhaka: A delegation from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the central intelligence agency of the United States, visited the Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) on Wednesday. The visit was part of the ongoing cooperation and partnership aimed at enhancing the capacity of the CTTC wing.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the delegation was led by FBI Legal Attach© Sohel Daud. The visit included discussions on improving the performance of CTTC officers through various specialized training programs designed to counter terrorism and international crime.
The delegation emphasized the importance of modern training techniques to prevent cybercrime, transnational crime, and money laundering. Detailed discussions were held to continue mutual cooperation in combatting these crimes effectively.
The meeting was attended by Joint Police Commissioner, CTTC Md. Saleh Uddin, along with other senior CTTC officials, highlighting the collaborative efforts between the two agencies.
