New York:Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal has arrived back home following his participation in the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, USA.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Khanal returned home after attending the General Assembly and engaging in several high-level programs and bilateral meetings. He departed for New York on September 20.
During his visit, Khanal organized a special climate-focused event called ‘Sagarmatha to the Sea A Call to Action for a Climate-Resilient Future,’ representing Nepal. Additionally, he met with counterparts from various countries to discuss topics of mutual interest.
His active involvement and discussions during the visit are believed to have been effective in enhancing Nepal’s image and reputation on the international stage.
