Kathmandu:Former President Bidya Devi Bhandari participated in the traditional Bijaya Dashami festivities by receiving ‘jamara’ and blessings from her mother, Mithila Pandey.
According to National News Agency RSS, Bhandari also performed the ritual of offering ‘tika’ to her daughters and sons-in-law. In addition to her family, she extended the celebration by giving ‘tika’ to members of the general public, well-wishers, and party workers. This exchange took place as part of the Bijaya Dashami greetings, as stated by her personal secretary, Rajkumar Rai.
