Kathmandu: Nepal Police have detained four foreign nationals, including a woman, after discovering 3.745 kilograms of gold at Tribhuvan International Airport.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the individuals arrived in Kathmandu on a Fly Dubai flight on Wednesday night. Somendra Singh Rathore, Chief of the TIA Security Office, revealed that Akhmadjanovana Dilphuja Marif Aliev, Ijarailovana Saodat Phejiva, Sardor Triusanov, and Gulamdjanovan Umid Akhomedov were apprehended during a security check at the TIA Terminal.
All the arrested individuals are from Uzbekistan, and a further investigation into the case is currently underway, added Rathore.
