Gorakhpur: Four people were killed and six others were injured in a road accident while returning home from the Prayagraj Kumbhamela in Uttar Pradesh, India. The tragic incident occurred last night on Gorakhpur Link Road in Uttar Pradesh.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the deceased have been identified as Pharshiram Chaudhary (65), Lilavati Chaudhary (64), and Hariharbati Yadav (55) from Kanchanrup Municipality of the Saptari district, along with Samtoliyadevi Yadav from Kushahawa Rural Municipality of the Sunsari district. Samananda Chaudhary, the ward chair of Kanchanrup Municipality Ward No-7, provided these details.
The other individuals injured in the incident include Upendra Narayan Yadav, Laludevi Yadav, Jitu Yadav, Mukesh Yadav, Upendra’s relative, and the driver of the vehicle. They are currently receiving treatment at Gorakhpur Hospital. Ward chair Chaudhary mentioned that ambulances have been dispatched to Gorakhpur to transport the bodies back home.
