Kathmandu: General Secretary of the Nepali Congress, Gagan Kumar Thapa, has urged political leaders to liberate themselves from indecision, greed, and ambition. Thapa made this statement during the release of a new book by poet Dirgha Bahadur Shahi, titled ‘Dokka Ghare’. The book is an anthology of muktak, called ‘Jivan Ek Bimba Anek’.
According to National News Agency Nepal, General Secretary Thapa emphasized that patience, rather than greed, is essential in politics. He stressed the importance of maintaining the aspiration for improvement while steering clear of self-serving motives. Thapa also highlighted the role of literature as a catalyst for societal progress.
