Ganesh Man Singh’s Precept Inspiring to All Politicos.


Byas: A central member of the Nepali Congress (NC), Dhruva Wagle, expressed that politicians should draw inspiration from the late Ganesh Man Singh for politics of loyalty. Addressing an event organized to mark the 110th birth anniversary of the late Ganesh Man Singh at Ganeshman Park of Byas Municipality-2 in Tahanu district today, leader Wagle emphasized that Singh’s legacy and contribution to the country will always remain indelible. He noted that Singh, despite being born into a well-off family in Kathmandu, sacrificed personal comfort to work for the greater good of the country and its people.

According to National News Agency Nepal, Wagle stressed the importance of unity within the party to tackle its challenges, asserting there was no alternative but to make the Nepali Congress further stronger and robust. Similarly, NC Tanahu district chapter President Jit Prakash Ale and other party leaders echoed these sentiments, underscoring loyalty and unity in the party.

Meanwhile, in a separate commemorative
event held in Kathmandu today, various NC leaders highlighted Singh’s significant contributions to the nation. Offering enduring tributes to the late Singh, leader Krishna Prasad Sitaula mentioned that the constitution could be reviewed and revised based on current needs. He stated, “The constitution can be amended according to the need of the nation and aspirations of the citizens by objectively reviewing all of its aspects.”

Ganesh Man Singh Foundation’s President, Bhimsen Das Pradhan, highlighted Singh’s attributes and contributions, remembering him as a skilled leader who adeptly led various political movements. He commended Singh’s pivotal role in establishing the agenda of inclusiveness as incomparable.

Likewise, Nepal Bar Association’s former President, Shambhu Thapa, opined that politicians should learn from Singh’s character and characteristics to become true leaders. On the occasion, Principal Kapil Shrestha was honored with the ‘Janaandolan Gold Medal’ in recognition of his contributions to democ
ratic movements, protection, and promotion of human rights and freedom.
