Gatisheel Loktantrik Party Demands Reforms in Public Transportation

Kathmandu: The Gatisheel Loktantrik Party has called upon the government to implement significant reforms in the public transportation sector. The party emphasizes the need for immediate action to enhance road safety and improve road quality, especially in light of the increasing number of road accidents.

According to National News Agency Nepal, party chairman Dinesh Prasain, in a press statement, urged the government to make public transportation reforms a priority. He highlighted that these changes are crucial for ensuring safer travel for citizens. Additionally, the party criticized the omission of the term ‘federalism’ from the 100-point document issued by the Rastriya Swatantra Party-led government.

The Gatisheel Loktantrik Party also proposed the introduction of a Bill on the Province Government Operation Act. This legislation is intended to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of provincial governments, ensuring that they deliver services promptly to the public. The party’s suggestions come as a response to the government’s outlined priorities, aiming to hold the administration accountable for its commitments.
