Gorkha: General Secretary of the Rastriya Swatantra Party, Kabindra Burlakoti, has said the government would work untiringly for development, prosperity, and good governance. However, collaboration with all political parties would be made in case of development works, he informed.
According to National News Agency Nepal, General Secretary Burlakoti made these remarks while inaugurating the first district convention of RSP in Gorkha today. “The votes RSP collected is not for antagonizing other parties but for working to ensure result to people,” he reminded.
Efforts are underway to restore the Gorakhkali Rubber Industry, Burlakoti shared, noting that discussions have been held multiple times with the Finance Ministry in this regard.
In his view, the private sector could invest and revive the industry, or even a public-private partnership could be considered. Burlakoti also mentioned that some budget has been allocated for advancing the construction of the Budhugandaki Hydropower Project in the upcoming year.
