German Ambassador Engages in Diplomatic Talks with Nepal’s Acting President Yadav


Kathmandu: German Ambassador to Nepal Udo Eugen Volz on Monday paid a courtesy call on Acting President Ramsahay Prasad Yadav at the Office of the Vice President in Lainchaur. During the meeting, discussions were held on the friendly ties between the two countries, the issues of mutual assistance, development partnership, investment, and trade and tourism promotion, the Office of the Vice President stated.



According to National News Agency Nepal, the Acting President expressed satisfaction with the mutual trust and cooperation between the two countries since their diplomatic ties in 1958. Yadav highlighted that high-level visits, development partnership, people-to-people ties, investment, and tourism are the pillars of bilateral relations between Nepal and Germany.



Furthermore, the Acting President informed the German Ambassador about the upcoming elections to the House of Representatives (HoR) scheduled for March 5, 2026, underscoring the democratic processes in Nepal.
