Kathmandu: The price of gold has set a new record in the domestic market today.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the yellow metal is being traded at Rs 205,300 per tola (11.66 grams) today, marking the highest price recorded in the domestic market.
The gold price has surged by Rs 1,700 per tola since yesterday, reflecting a continuous upward trend.
Similarly, the Association has set the price of silver at Rs 2,470 per tola today, compared to Rs 2,425 per tola on Sunday.
In the international market, the price of gold stands at 3,480 US dollars per ounce today.
