Rabat:The government has sanctioned the signing of the Mandate Agreement with the World Bank concerning the Nepal Earthquake Catastrophe Bond. This decision was made during a Council of Ministers meeting held on Friday.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Minister for Information and Communications, Dr. Bikram Timilsina, announced that the meeting also approved the ‘Committee Formation Order, 2083 BS’. This order will facilitate the registration of urban or peri-urban public land used for residential purposes under the names of individual users.
In addition, Kabbadi and Karate players who secured medals at the Ichi-Nayoga 20th Asian Games will receive awards. Cash prizes will also be awarded to their coaches and managers.
Furthermore, the Cabinet meeting resolved to promote Joint Attorney General Achyut Mani Neupane to the position of a gazette special class official in legal service, appointing him as a secretary at the Commission for Inquiry of Enforced Disappeared Persons.
